Working with countries and communities to develop risk solutions for natural capital; we provide access to insurance protection and benefits to people.

Knowledge products & specialized research

  • Contextualized research on natural capital risks, diagnostic methods for risk assessment, better understanding the many ways in which natural capital protects lives and livelihoods, and how this value can be translated into insurance products, tools and services.

Risk transfer solutions

  • Developing innovative nature-based risk transfer solutions

Policy advocacy & promotion of natural capital protection

  • Promote the importance of integrating natural capital protection into country development plans by supporting assessments of the impacts of Natural Capital risks vis-a-vis country’s risk profiles; Education and evidence for policy issues and solutions

Technical Assistance & Capacity building

  • Assistance in developing or improving the legislative and regulatory frameworks to facilitate the deployment of natural capital insurance; tools and capacity building programs on Natural Capital risk awareness
